Terms and Conditions

 By submitting a yearbook for review, you (“the Entrant,” “you,” or “your”) agree to comply with the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before submitting.

1. Eligibility

 

1.1. Accredited Institution Requirement

All yearbooks submitted must be created by students enrolled in an officially accredited elementary, middle, high school, Community College, or University in the United States or internationally. International schools must be accredited by a recognized educational authority or governing body in their respective country. Proof of accreditation may be requested.

 

1.2. Student Work Requirement

Submissions must be the original work of students. Faculty or advisors may provide guidance, but the primary content creation (design, writing, photography, layout) must be completed by enrolled students.

2. Language Requirement

​

Faire National Yearbook Review only reviews literary publications and editorial content written in English. Yearbooks containing significant content in other languages must include English translations or summaries for judging purposes. Submissions not meeting this requirement will not be eligible for review or awards.

3. Submission Format

​

3.1. Physical Submission Only

All yearbooks, journals, newspapers, and magazine publications must be submitted as a physical copy via mail. Digital files (PDFs, eBooks, websites, or online portfolios) are not accepted for evaluation.

 

3.2. Mailing Instructions

Entrants are responsible for securely packaging and mailing yearbooks to the Company’s designated address. Shipping costs, including any international customs or duties, are the sole responsibility of the entrant. We are not responsible for books lost or damaged during shipment.

4. Submission Deadline

​

All entries must be postmarked by Oct 1st, 2025, to be considered for the current year’s review cycle. Late submissions will not be reviewed and will not be returned.

5. Review Process

 

5.1. In-Person Review

All yearbooks are reviewed in person by qualified reviewers using a standardized rubric developed by the Company that adheres to professional standards and educational objectives. The criteria include design, layout, editorial quality, photography, and overall execution.

 

5.2. Judging Timeline

The individual review process takes place during the submission window, which runs from May 1 to October 1. Results will be announced publicly and via email by December 1.

6. Return Policy

​

Submitted yearbooks become the property of the Company and will not be returned unless noted in the application and a posted return fee. Yearbooks are scored by rubric and will not be marked for edits.

7. Disqualification

 

Submissions may be disqualified without notice for the following reasons:​

​

  • Failure to meet the eligibility requirements noted above

  • Plagiarism or falsified student authorship

​

8. Rights and Acknowledgments

​​

By submitting, you grant the Company the right to:

​

  • Reference the yearbook or school name in promotional materials, award listings, and social media

  • Display select pages or excerpts (with credit) for educational or promotional purposes​

​

You retain full copyright of the submitted yearbook material.

​​

9. Privacy

​

Any school or student data submitted will be used solely for review, judging, and communication related to awards and review. Your information will not be sold or shared outside of these purposes.
